The Corporate World's Bad Boys and Gals

Following expected and unexpected upheavals, the Corporate Watch Newsletter returns to take a look at the minutiae of banking and the ideological underbelly of a profit-driven system that was bound to drive itself, the planet's societies and eco-systems to the brink. From 'Accounting Top-Tricks' to 'The Business of Europe', this issue analyses some of the corporate practices and ideals that enabled, and continue to enable, capitalism in various hues to predominate. With Israel's genocidal pummeling of Gaza, our new feature Campaign Spotlight focuses on Brighton-based Smash EDO, the defiant and successful campaign against arms manufacturer, ITT/EDO. We also consider the re-branding of corporate dominance and empire ushered in by Barack Obama's 'new dawn'.
